Karen Margrethe Bugge is a senior attorney in Hjort’s Family, Inheritance and Probate Law department. She provides legal services within these practice areas. Bugge has been employed at Hjort since 2011.

Bugge has extensive experience providing legal advice within the inheritance law practice area, including the creation of testaments, the transferring of assets to the next generation, and durable power of attorney’s. She also has many years of experience with the administration of private and public estates, involving the surviving spouses and heirs of the deceased.

In addition to assisting with the creation of cohabitation and pre-marital agreements, Bugge also provides assistance with the divorce and separation cases, in addition to cases of child custody.

Bugge has previous experience from The Norwegian Civil Affairs Authority (Federal Compensation Schemes) and from the courts, as well as experience with dispute resolution and litigation from her time as a Deputy Judge.
