Meet our IBA 2022 team!

Kristin Bjella is head of our energy and environmental practice area. Kristin works with litigation, dispute resolution and negotiation, as well as M&As. She specializes in the energy, natural resources and real estate industries. Her expertise include administrative law, contract law, company law, expropriation law, as well as regulatory law in the field of energy.

Kristin is admitted to the Supreme Court and regularly conducts cases before Norwegian courts. She was a member of the expert committees drafting the proposal for the Norwegian Dispute Act and the Arbitration Act. She is experienced in arbitration, both as an arbitrator and counsel. In 2018, she acted as counsel for Finnmarkseiendommen before the Supreme Court in a plenary session on the right to land and natural resources in Finnmark.

Jørn A. Uggerud is a partner in our Industry and Trade practice area. Uggerud has over 30 years of experience with contractual, corporate and M&A related assistance to clients in Norway and abroad, both with privately and publicly owned businesses and agencies.

Uggerud specializes in assisting executives and boards in large companies, mainly relating to issues of corporate governance.

He also serves as the working group leader for Contracts in the Norwegian Offshore Wind Cluster.

Rolf Chr Trolle Andersen is a partner in our Industry and Trade practice area.

Andersen assists with counsel and dispute resolution within a number of corporate law practice areas. These practice areas include, but are not limited to, company law, intellectual property rights, accounting law, stock exchange and securities law, professional liability, banking and finance law, insurance law, agreement and contract law

Thomas Alnæs heads our Corporate and Energy practice area.  He specializes in M&A, corporate and tax structuring, commercial negotiations and private equity and investment fund structures.

Thomas has more than 15 years of experience guiding multinational companies, financial institutions and private equity firms through every stage of technically complex issues, including buy structures, exit strategies, share and incentive schemes, corporate and commercial issues as well as tax structures. Thomas has a special focus on technology and research-driven industries.

Christian Dahl Aaser has extensive experience in assisting both Norwegian and international clients.  Christian specializes in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital market transactions and company law. He has broad experience from various sectors and regularly advises on cross-border transactions.
