The acquisition is in line with Fenix Outdoor’s strategy to strengthen its international position in premium wool products. Fenix Outdoor has described Devold of Norway as the group’s largest wool brand.
Founded in 1853, Devold of Norway is a long-established Norwegian brand known for merino wool products and wool-based clothing for outdoor and everyday use.
Hjort has acted as legal adviser to Fenix Outdoor throughout its ownership journey in Devold, from the acquisition of a 65% stake in March 2025 to the full acquisition now completed.
