Karen Margrethe Bugge

Karen Margrethe Bugge has 15 years of experience in counselling and dispute resolution within family, inheritance and probate law. She has professional experience from the Norwegian Civil Affairs Authority and from the courts, with six years as deputy judge, wherein three years are from the Oslo District Court. She assists clients with international family and inheritance cases.

Karen specializes in inheritance law, including the establishment of wills, inheritance agreements/generational changes, future authorizations, as well as cohabitation agreements/marriage agreements.

She has extensive experience with counselling related to and implementation of both public and private estate changes. Karen handles ongoing disputes related to wills, change of duties and other inheritance law issues.

Karen assists with financial matters in relationships such as questions about separate ownership, division and settlement between cohabitants. In addition, Karen assists in children’s cases, including questions about parental responsibility, permanent residence and visitation.

Karen has extensive knowledge of how to navigate financial changes due to inheritance, marriage or cohabitation due to her experience in the practice areas of contract, company and real estate law.
