This is the first Norwegian Court of Appeal decision to directly address how platform workers should be classified following a legislative amendment that came into force on 1 January 2024. On 24 February 2026, the Borgarting Court of Appeal, Norway\u2019s second-highest level of courts, delivered its ruling in the widely followed Wolt case.
