The gender balance requirements will be gradually introduced following a phased implementation, whereas companies exceeding the thresholds below will be obligated to meet the new requirements:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-22095\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hjort.no\/wp-content\/uploads\/Skjermbilde-2024-06-24-140743.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"667\" height=\"530\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">On 1 January 2024, the new regulation promoting gender balance in boards of Norwegian corporate entities, including private limited liability companies exceeding certain thresholds, came into force.
