Jonas Thorsdalen Wik

Senior Associate

Jonas Thorsdalen Wik is a senior associate and works with employment law. Jonas assists both Norwegian and international clients with negotiations and dispute resolutions for the Norwegian courts, as well as cases pertaining to termination of employment, layoffs, competition clauses and temporary employment. He has also assisted in several grievance cases concerning employees.

Previously, Jonas has worked as a research assistant at the Department of Private Law. He was member of the ‘Labour Law Group’, responsible for research and academic tasks at the Department. He wrote his master’s thesis entitled “What is the minimum requirements of a permanent employment? With particular regard to the employee’s right to “predictability for work”, cf. aml. § 14-9″.

Jonas has had several internships at various law firms, including in the legal department of LO.
